As an Adobe Security Partner, we are under special agreement to load plug-ins directly in the free Adobe Reader. Our software has been in continual use by publishing, education, corporations, and manufacturing concerns since the company's founding in 1997.

Our mission is provide our customers with tools to create controlled publishing environments within a framework of open standards, most importantly the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). This approach enables our customers to leverage the huge installed base of the Adobe Reader, while taking advantage of the open interfaces in FileOpen products to create highly customized implementations.

FileOpen Systems has gained widespread acceptance and trust from the global publishing community, including many international standards organizations who rigorously test technologies for adoption in their respective countries.
